Slipways opened!

Updated: Apr 2, 2022

The Commodore and Training Captain officially opened the slipways today. Although there are still some finishing touches to be done to the slipways and the posts and rubbing strakes have still to be fitted to the jetty, we are happy to inform you that they are open for launching and recovery of lighter boats, dinghies and ribs. Heavier boats can use it from Saturday 2nd April.

The contractors plan to have their equipment off site, but space will still be at an absolute premium for the next few weeks.

Because of this, if anyone is launching, please do not leave your boat or trailer in the park.

The Commodore would like to thank everyone who has put so much effort and time into getting us to this stage. which we hope you agree, is a major step forward for your club.

Thank you also to all of our members and neighbours for your patience over the last number of months.

We look forward to you all getting plenty of use out of these slipways this coming summer.
