As Spring approaches and we make ready for another season on the water, SLYC’s Green Team welcomes a timely presentation by National Trust Ranger  Will Hawkins.  Will has been monitoring  Strangford’s birds and mammals for the last decade and will give us an update on the conservation status and sensitivities that might influence  successful breeding and their continued presence on Strangford.  We hope that this will not only help us safely navigate past important wildlife hotspots but also provide the knowledge that helps us collectively encourage best practice and provide observational support while out and about.
