Fun Friday’s came to an end on Friday 28th August with a final night’s racing followed by the Junior Prizegiving. It has been great to see so many young sailors out each Friday evening and so much progress made over the last few months. You can view images from the night and all the prize winners here.
A huge thanks to all those who helped on an off the water each Friday night – especially Nick and Clare for their sterling work on the committee boat and Terry and Stevie for their excellent music in the clubhouse.
Last weekend also saw the culmination of the Strangford Lough Youth Series and many of our Junior sailors were out in force at KYC. Unfortunately we were pipped to the trophy this year by KYC but it was an incredibly close run thing with only 3 points in it.
